What is your favorite food? My favorite food by far is waffles. I love to add fresh fruit and lots of syrup!
 
What is your favorite TV show? My favorite TV show is “Dance Moms” because I love watching the girls follow their passion for dance!
 
What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is Disney’s Tangled. Rapunzel is a determined and artistic individual. She pursues her dream, which is exactly how I want to live my life.
 
What is your favorite Olympic sport? My favorite Olympic sport is definitely gymnastics. I was a gymnast when I was younger and I still enjoy activities such as tumbling and acrobatics. I think the gymnasts have such poise and elegance during their routines, which makes it very enjoyable to watch.
 
What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? My favorite Christmas holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with my brothers and sister. My mom may get upset because we goof off and make jokes about placing all the ornaments in one section; but those laughs are my favorite memories each year.
 
What is the current #1 most played song on your iPod? The number one song on my IPod is “All About That Bass”, because it has an inspirational message about accepting individuals no matter what size they may be.

What is your most hated household chore? My most hated household chore is cleaning the litter box.
 
What is your favorite time of day? I enjoy the entirety of every day, because I believe in living life to the fullest point and every second counts.
 
What is your favorite time of year? My favorite time of year is the fall. I love the change in the color of the leaves and the festivities that take place.
Plan ahead OR procrastinate? I prefer to plan ahead; however, I always end up procrastinating.
 
Paper OR plastic? Paper of course!
 
Glass half-full OR glass half-empty? I am a glass half-full person!
 
Introvert OR extrovert? I am definitely an extrovert. I love to interact with people :)
 
Cats OR Dogs? I love all animals, so I could never decide.
 
Morning person OR night person? I am both a morning and a night person .
If you could be any color crayon, what would you be and why? I would be fuschia or purple, because those are the favorite colors of my two best friends.
 
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you absolutely need for survival? The three items I would would bring are a lifetime supply of food, a hockey duffel bag filled with clothes and my best friend.
 
What would we find in your refrigerator right now? I have a lot of water and fruit in my refrigerator.
 
Sum yourself up in three words. If I had to sum myself up in three words they would be: determined, creative and unique.
 

 

What do you want to be when you grow up and why? I want to be a child psychologist in the foster care system. I want to be a source of support for children who feel that they do not have any.

 

Describe your single-most favorite moment from your Distinguished Young Women experience. My favorite Distinguished Young Woman memory is definitely Finals night at Nationals. I loved watching my friend Brooke win and be able to celebrate with both my host family and my real family. All of these individuals have made positive impacts on my life, and being able to share the two weeks with them made lasting impressions I will never forget.
