If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you absolutely need for survival? If a plane is not an option, I would bring my horse for transportation and companionship, a lighter for heat and cooking, and a high quality sleeping bag for obvious reasons.
What would we find in your refrigerator right now? Right now I my fridge is filled with gatorade! I’m in the marching band, so keeping our electrolytes up is a priority!
If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. with whom would it be? I would trade places with Rose Tyler, from Doctor Who. She is such a strong, courageous and kind character with her heart on her sleeve and her head on her shoulders. Plus, she got to see all of the wonderful places and times with the Doctor!
Describe your single-most favorite moment from your Distinguished Young Women experience. My single-most favorite memory of Distinguished Young Women (so far) has been getting to know 49 girls from all over America. We spent so much time together teasing each other about our accents (I cannot tell you how many times I was asked to repeat the word ‘boat’..), and we saw each other through the highs and lows of the two weeks we were together. Practice, projects, INTERVIEWS, and yes, the humidity… Those weeks were too short, but through them I met and made some of the greatest friendships of my life.
