If you could be any color crayon, what would you be and why? I would be the black crayon because that one gets used the most, and it would not be fun to be a useless crayon.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you absolutely need for survival? Believe it or not, as part of my school curriculum I was dropped off on a stranded island and taught how to survive. Because of that experience, I know the three things I would need to literally survive would be fire starters, a soup can (metal), and visqueen. The soup can is to boil water and any food we find and the visqueen is for shelter. The fire starters are pretty self explanatory.

What would we find in your refrigerator right now? Orange Juice….and that is about it.

What is the one thing you wish someone had told you about college life that you had to find out on your own? I wish someone had told me to look on Craigslist for appliances. That is the cheaper way to go!

What is one goal you have set for yourself and achieved? What is one goal that still remains to be achieved? I wanted to graduate high school with a 4.0 GPA, and I did. That goal is still very applicable to college, and so I hope to graduate with all A’s again.

Describe your single-most favorite moment from your Distinguished Young Women experience.  My favorite moment from Distinguished Young Women was at state level. On the first day of the program we went zip lining , it was an awesome way to bond with the girls. Of course, there is no better way to bond with people than a mutual fear of heights.
