Describe your single-most favorite moment from your Distinguished Young Women experience. I can’t think of a single moment that was my favorite, but our whole Camp Grace experience was definitely my favorite part of our trip. Before the sleepover at Camp Grace, I still felt a little bit awkward and I did not know many of the girls too well. Over the 2 days we were there, I feel as if I got to know every single person a little (or a lot) better, and we all really bonded. We got to see the different sides of each other at the campfire, swimming in the lake, the high ropes course, and the dance contest and it was really a judgment free zone for everybody to come out of their shell. It was so fun to just sit and talk with somebody I had never talked to before. About their state, their family, their interests, their fears, dreams, beliefs, everything! It really was a beautiful experience.
